LIVE MUSIC PERFORMED IN INTIMATE SURROUNDINGS . . .
... by some of the brightest chamber groups and soloists in the UK, Europe, and beyond; never has the prospect been more exciting or welcome.
More than a year has passed since we prepared our 2020/21 season, which we cancelled with enormous regret. Our performers unanimously agreed to wait and come to Haddington to play for us when the time was right—and that time is now!
We are aware, however, that nothing is certain and circumstances are liable to change over the coming months. We are prepared to be flexible to ensure that we can continue to bring live music to East Lothian and shall do our utmost to present the 2021/22 season—and what a season it is!
This is the fullest season we have ever offered: eight terrific concerts performed by musicians from all over the world, giving them the welcome opportunity to perform again after the enforced hiatus in their careers and us the chance to enjoy an abundance of live music.
Because of renovations at the Town House we have moved temporarily to the inspiring setting of Holy Trinity Church, which is already well-known as a concert venue. Our Bösendorfer is safely stored and we are fortunate to have the use of Holy Trinity's Kawai grand piano.
IT'S A NEW SETTING BUT OUR WELCOME WILL BE AS WARM AS EVER.
The price for individual concerts remains at £12, while for this season only we offer a very special subscription price: £60--eight concerts for the price of five.
