covid policy
We have a record number of subscribers this year, and are nearing the maximum socially distanced capacity of Holy Trinity Church. For this reason we have suspended advertising our concerts to the wider public for the time being, to ensure that there will be adequate room in the nave and, if necessary, the chancel. Subscribers and those who have already bought individual tickets are guaranteed a seat.
Holy Trinity Church, along with other churches and venues, is setting its own rules for social distancing and safety from COVID-19. We have to abide by these and so this coming season, at least at the start, will not be quite a return to how we operated in the past. Until further notice, therefore, the following applies:
Audience entry is from 2.30 pm. We suggest arriving 20 minutes early. so that we can record attendance and ensure that everyone is guided safely to the seats, which will have been sanitised and set out in socially distanced 'bubbles'.
Hand sanitisers will be available at the door.
Social distancing should be observed at all times when inside the church.
Members of the audience must wear masks throughout the concert, removing them only after leaving the church.
There will be a short interval to allow audience members to stretch their legs, but unfortunately, in order to avoid mingling, we cannot serve refreshments.
We trust that these measures will be observed and hope that they won't detract too much from the enjoyment of the concerts. We have some amazing music to share and we look forward to experiencing it with our members and ticket-holders.
