Each year since 2012 Alasdair Beatson, "chamber pianist extraordinaire" (The Herald), has held a highly successful small chamber music festival in south-west France: Musique à Marsac. At the start of our season he is joined by five international musicians from this summer's festival in an exciting programme that includes a festival commission by the Swiss composer Helena Winkelman, herself a virtuoso violinist.
