... in 1986, the first steps were taken to bring chamber music regularly to East Lothian with the founding of Haddington Music Club, renamed Haddington Concert Society when we acquired our fine Bösendorfer concert-grand piano. Since then we have been bringing music and delight to Haddington in the winter months in our annual Music Close Up season. In our anniversary year we have put together a programme that celebrates and builds upon our rich past at the same time looking to the future.
